During the last couple of years many organisations have found themselves in a position of restructuring not once but many times in their drive to reduce costs.  This has multi-fold impact for the staff  involved.  There are some who will lose their jobs, some who will have to apply for different roles within the same company and of course a number who remain in their roles, but have to pick up additional responsibilities.
