I don’t know whether it’s a sense of uncertainty or the nagging feeling that if I’m not constantly achieving, I’m falling behind, but it’s there.
I’ve been practicing everything I preach such as recharge, taking up new hobbies, reflecting on goals and new directions, and enjoying the present, because I know that rest is not the enemy of success. However, it feels as if my brain is constantly preparing for worst-case scenarios.
Does anyone else have a tendency to measure your worth by how busy you are and then find it unsettling when things quiet down?
If so, what are you doing to manage this period?
