I feel as if being a good role model is ever more at the forefront of my mind, hence my question!​

We can all think back to our favourite teachers, managers, aunts or uncles and that’s because whatever they were putting out there was contagious! They had energy, passion, loved what they did, and it was this that shaped the way we engaged with them.​

Inspiration is the fuel behind great achievements. It pushes boundaries, sparks innovation, and makes everyday tasks feel like meaningful endeavours.

But, before you can inspire others you need to be inspired yourself. If you don’t believe in what you’re doing, it’s almost impossible to ignite excitement in others.​

Think about the difference between two people sharing the same idea: one who speaks with passion and conviction, and another who presents it by just going through the motions. Who captivates you? Who leaves a lasting impression? The one who’s inspired! Inspiration is magnetic; it doesn’t demand attention because it naturally draws people in.​

So, what happens if you’re feeling uninspired? Here are a three ways to reignite your inner spark:​

✨ Reconnect with your ‘Why’ – Why did you start? What excites you about your work, ideas? When we think about it in this way, we can rekindle enthusiasm.​

✨ Surround yourself with inspiration – Seek out people, books, music, or environments that fuel your creativity and motivation. Energy is transferable so be intentional about absorbing positive influences.​

✨ Embrace growth and curiosity – Learning something new or challenging yourself with fresh experiences can stimulate excitement because movement reignites inspiration whist stagnation dulls it.​

Once you’ve rediscovered your inspiration, sharing it becomes effortless.

When you radiate genuine energy, others can’t help but feel drawn in, motivated, and ready to take action.
